Privacy policy for the waitlist

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy explains how Luke Parkyn (ABN 29 592 099 355), trading as circlatrade ("circlatrade", "we"), handles the details you give us when you join the circlatrade waitlist. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We don't ask for your surname, phone number, address or any identity documents to join the waitlist. Please don't put sensitive information (such as health details) in the "anything else" box.

Why we collect it

We'll only email you about circlatrade's early access and launch. Every email has an unsubscribe link, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can't join the waitlist anonymously, because we need an email address to invite you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details or share them with anyone for their marketing. Your details are stored by the service providers that run the waitlist for us:

Some of these providers are based overseas (mainly the United States and the European Union), so they may access your information from outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

We don't put waitlist details into AI tools.

How we look after it

The waitlist can't be read through the website. Only authorised circlatrade people can see it. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers.

If you join circlatrade, your waitlist entry is linked to your account. If you don't, we'll delete your details 12 months after launch in your area, or sooner if you ask. If there's a data breach likely to cause serious harm, we'll tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing privacy@circlatrade.com. We'll reply within 30 days.

The waitlist is for people aged 18 or over.

Questions and complaints

Email privacy@circlatrade.com. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email people on the waitlist before the change applies.
